Dr Igbo Okafor was born in the family of Chief Nzedioranma Uche Okafor (ONYIMA DIKE N’UTUTU), AJIDIKEUDO of Godian Religion, and is from Unubi, Nnewi South Local Government Area in Anambra State Nigeria. His service to God started from Aba, with late H.C.P B.A Orji, Late High Priest Ehuchie, now Spiritual Head Mbaraeke (Omeudo) and host of others, at 239 Cameron road Aba, which late developed another station at 96/97 Ikot-Ekpene road, Ogbo-Hill, Aba, where he worshipped with late HCP Nkemakonam Afamuefuna Ezeala.
Dr Igbo Okafor joined choir at the tender age of eight (8) years at Godian Religion at 239 Cameron road station Aba, under the tutelage of now Spiritual Head Mbaraeke and Late Mazi Nnanna Ukpai of the blessed memory. Due to his enthusiasm and commitment to music and orderliness, he was made the assistant Choir Master under late Mazi Nnanna Ukpai when Ogbo-Hill station was created. He was later appointed the Choirmaster, position he held till 1997/98, after his graduation from University. He travelled to Lagos for greener pasture for his internship placement as an Optometrist, where he joined Choir in Orile Station in 1998. While at Lagos as a young man, he served and delivered in various capacities.
He got married to his lovely wife, Mrs Akunna Igbo Okafor and had their Covenant of Heart at the Executive Lounge, National Theatre, Lagos, which was a mega celebration.
He was a member of the Godian Religion Action Team (G.R.A.T) and also a pioneer member of Committed Godians, a voluntary group formed with the aim to actively support Godian Religion in moving forward.
He worshipped briefly at Maza-Maza in 2010 where he was also a Choirmaster, before National Council approved and inaugurated Orile station. He went back to Orile, shortly after he reformed a new choir and owing to his orderly characteristics, he rebranded the chorister song book and uniform while consistently impacting in the young Godians he led, the values and ethics of Godianism, today some of his wards are now Choirmasters and Choir mistresses in Orile Station and Maza-Maza staion.
This earned him a position where he was elected to lead as Chairman of the new Orile Station. This responsibility he carried out for eight (8) years, from 2010-2018, during which great achievements were recorded. With the aim to invest and grow the financial capacity of OTRA, he prudently managed funds while investing in various financial assets.
He left Lagos Station for Abuja in February 28, 2018 due to transfer of service as a Public Servant. He now worships at Jabi, Abuja OTRA, where he is currently organizing the Choir and other activities.
Other works he has carried out are renovation of the Admin office of Godian Religion at Unubi Mother Station, Anambra State, being active player in various fundraising project, bazaar, creating awareness through social Medias etc.

The Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN) is the body statutorily empowered by an Act of Parliament (cap 09 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, formerly known as Decree No. 34 of December, 1989) to regulate the practice of the professions of Optometry and dispensing Opticianry In Nigeria.
